The biblical Matthew 7:7, Jesus said; “Ask and it will be given to you;Â seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you”. By far this the best verse in the bible that i remind myself everyday. Not from a theoretical perspective but it clearly defines that what we want also wants us and we can find it if we seek it. I have actively applied many of the life changing principles from the Bible into my consciousness engineering and conditioning and i can show radical results. With that appetizer, let’s proceed with the article..
Some time around June, last year (2019), I passed by the grocery shop and bought grape juice and some bread , I needed them badly but the brand I found didn’t taste well, given that I was with some mild malaria, so my appetite was so low. In such a misgiving, i went to the small shop outside our residential block to ask if they had juice and bread that would taste for me good. Unfortunately, they didn’t have too. As I headed back to our block, a young single mother well known to me in our ghetto residence greeted me : “Uncle, do you have some bread home, my children are starving today” She asked. She knows I always share foodstuffs with children around the ghetto.  Â
I excitedly called her for it after all i was not going to take it since i was alone in the house then. Next morning she was so happy and narrating how I saved her family that night with the 1 litre box of grape juice and bread. “The children even got what to pack for school breakfast, I had no money that day for sure for anything to eat and we had stayed hungry whole day” She narrated.Â
Pardon me for such a boring story but this scenario reminded me of what my granny used to tell me: *What you want, wants you – to seek for it*.
For every job you’re dying to get, there’s an employer that is dying to have someone exactly like you. For every relationship with depth and excitement you’re wanting, there’s someone else wanting the exact same thing.
For every perfect cozy home you’re seeking, there’s a seller looking for the next owner to love their space. The list is endless..
But we forget this and we think that what we want is far fetched and impossible and never going to happen. So we don’t ask…. We stop on wanting and desiring, we don’t seek rightfully. We stop the race of seeking. We hibernate and give up. And we prove ourselves right for giving up or settling for less. And that can go on forever making us settle for a mediocre status.
For everything we need, it needs us too, our role is to relentlessly keep seeking and needing. Time vindicates but our role in the time is not passive but an active one to keep searching passionately because what we want, wants us too – to seek for it.
So today is a little reminder for you to ask, to seek and to need. Ask for the things you want. The love, the attention, the business, the skills, the help. Put it out into the world. Take a step towards it. And then see what happens. Whatever you need, need you to seek for it. You’re just one ask away from all of it. You are just one wink , phone call, text away to manifest the love of your life.
You are just one sales call away to attract the client you want. You are just…. Just closer to the desires of your heart. What you need, needs you, seek for it. God wants only the best for us all. He wants us to live our lives to our fullest potential. God’s love and power is unlimited. The only thing that limits us is what we think we can actually accomplish. What we seek, seeks us, what we want, wants us too, our role is to keep seeking!
For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. What we want, wants us – to seek for it!
Namaste!
