David Wampamba speaks about Tech
In early 2015, while working in the United Arab Emirates, i met David Wampamba online. We quickly jumped into business and together with his team, they delivered with total excellence and trust on all projects we did, i later came to meet him physically in 2016. David is A class at his game.
Humble and purposed, David is a co-founder at Gagawala Graphics; a leading graphics design and digital solutions company in Uganda. His role is to develop products to improve team engagement, financial management and customer relations. Before this role, David was an I.T support personnel at Crystal Innovative Systems, solving technical challenges at the workplace. In addition, David is also the product manager at Ablestate Creatives Ltd - which is a developer – employer matching and digital skills development agency based in Kampala where he happens to be a co-founder as well.
“I’m inspired by solutions (which i create) to challenge real life problems especially employee relationships, team effectiveness, unemployment and illiteracy” – David says.
David is an avid reader and a transformation enthusiast and as of today his best books are; Start with Why by Simon Sinek, followed by THE CHAMPION’S MOJO by Nicholas K. Quest. I asked David why the above takes the lead in his current bookshelf and his response was; “The former helped me identify myself and improve my self-awareness level whereas the latter boosts my grit, it inspires me to take a step forward no matter how steeply it could be”
Around 18 years, David and friends began Fortis computer innovations; an IT systems service company, which failed after few years. That would have crushed his soul but like any extraordinaire, a few moments later, he was sleeves up to build Gagawala Graphics with his team.
Whereas you may think you need richness to change lives, David defies that, through web design, coding and Tech solutions he is changing the way of living and working. Anything about David is awakening. I am inspired by people like David who are always changing the face of how we live and work by creating solutions that humanity deserves.
