Thriving and transcending in uncertainty and any adversity requires us to embrace our vulnerability. It’s the perfect opportunity to being humble, thoughtful, optimistic, not arrogant and collaborate with the situation and others rather than seeing them as predators, competitors or hazards respectively. You can thrive from this crisis with the following tips:
1) News
Watch, analyse, verify and confirm news you receive before sharing them with others. In tough times panic makes health more worse than the pandemic.. Let’s not be preachers of hoax and fake news. Lead with excellence and don’t choose to be taken away by all saddening news.
2) Assumptions
Let’s not judge from assumptions and reality. Other diseases and infections are still around, don’t stigmatize those with other complications or rush to get worried of any other complication you have confusing it with #Covid-19. Take medical precautions with care and confidence. Stop putting your life at risk by just assumptions, fear and worry. Be realistic.
3) Be Kind and Loving
It is this time that we need to express love and care to our people. Everyone is scared or dealing with a difficulty as a result of this pandemic (work, business, stress). Reach them out, share a joke, share love and be closer. Let not social distancing keep you disconnected. Make some discussions online instead of meetings. Be kind and loving to everyone around.
4) Don’t stop living
Eat well, take care of your life, have fun, shake that booty in the quarantine (I just did this, though I have no booty🤣😃) .. Do video social hours with friends.. Sleep enough, Drink enough, travel safely if you must. Just from your safety act like the most blessed living God ever created. Live and Love. Practice gratitude and laugh more.
AOB
I am just dealing with a life with no hugs😔. It’s hard as a longtime smoker stoping to smoke.. Someone should get off fear and give me a hug 😅😅. Worse, I can’t see my daughters because we are restricting movements , we decided everyone to stay where they are to reduce any possible risk, it came a time when they are not with me😔. I got an amazing and funny advice from some faceboook friend. Check my post here: https://bit.ly/2xmpPVn
When the scourge is over, please be kind enough to offer me as enough hugs as I will need. Let’s stay calm. Let’s take the lead. We can turn this around
